The Blood & Kindred trilogy is a series outlining the foundational tenets of global polygamous culture and provides an accurate description of the institution's motives, practice, and outcomes.

It began as a series of short videos addressing plural marriage from a socioeconomic perspective. After posting them on YouTube and Facebook I received hundreds of comments and questions in the first two weeks.  I then drafted a manuscript ensuring the reader had a clear and accurate understanding of polygamy's motives and practice.

The Blood & Kindred trilogy uproots the mythos surrounding polygamy and the communitarian ethic while demonstrating (a) how they operate on the microeconomic level, (b) the international and cross-cultural scope of polygamy, and (c) a localized, collective approach to alleviating social ills.

At this time I've conducted 12,000 hours of primary research on polygamous culture and have attempted to cover the most common questions and objections to its engagement.  I grew up in a household where de facto polygamy was the norm and lived with four polygynous families across the United States while writing the first volume of Blood & Kindred.

Volume 1 of the Blood & Kindred series is available on Amazon.com in January 2013!
